Major Virtual Innovations (MVI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2024 by engineer and technical leader Dr. A’Shawn L. Mitchell. MVI came to fruition after years of unsatisfactory attempts at finding elementary level STEM camp’s for her youngest son.

As a solution, with Dr. Mitchell’s 20+ years STEM background coupled with her husband, Renard C. Mitchell's successful entrepreneur expertise they began a new venture, MVI.

Their goal is to provide equitable access and diversity to STEM for the broader segments of the community, and making it fun for kids along the way.

Major Virtual Innovations will offer a range of week long in-person summer camps and day camps during school closures that focus on STEM education via gaming, virtual reality, cyber, and sports.
